Welcome to Term 4 2024 of Kaumatua Creative - Crafting Together for those aged 55 and over.

This weekly class is open to our local Kaumatua aged 55 and over. We work on collaborative and individual crafting projects.

Did you know that flexing our creative muscles helps us thrive as we age? Ongoing research suggests that participating in the arts may improve the health, well-being and independence of people as they age.

This 2-hour, weekly class is designed to promote self-expression, enhance mental health, provide an opportunity to socialise, stimulate your brain and unlock hidden talents. All whilst having fun in a warm and safe environment.

This term we will be creating a Latch Hook piece, Halloween crafts and Christmas Crafts

Course cost is $40 includes all materials.
