Join us for a special one-day Rongoā Māori Taster Workshop, guided by Okauwharetoa’s very own Tiraroa Isherwood & Whitney Aorangi.

About the Workshop:

This introductory workshop will provide you with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience to begin your Rongoaa Maaori journey. You’ll gain the confidence and guidance needed to build a meaningful connection with Te Taiao (the natural world).

✅ Fundamental karakia to support your learning
✅ Practical skills in traditional Māori healing methods
✅ Maatauranga (knowledge) to deepen your understanding of Rongoaa Maaori

Hands-On Experience:

By the end of the session, you will:
🌿 Create your own Wairaakau – a natural health tonic
🌿 Participate in making a Tincture – a concentrated liquid extract of Rongoaa Raakau to take home
