Pet Portraits

This workshop is designed for adults who wish to deepen their painting skills through the timeless and expressive subject of animal portraiture. Guided by an experienced and attuned tutor, participants will learn how to break down complex animal forms into simple shapes, refine their sketching techniques, and explore texture, light, and dimension in painting.

Across the sessions, you'll experiment with collage, textured brushwork, and painting exercises that build confidence and skill. The programme culminates in the creation of a final portrait—developed from your own reference imagery and supported by expert instruction in composition, proportion, and painting methods.

This class is suitable for adults aged 18 yrs and over

Course fee $85.00

You will require an Artist's Wet Paint Palette to participate in this course. We can purchase these for you at a reduced price of $23.00. There is an option to buy in the registration form. If you do not wish to purchase one from us you will need to provide your own to participate in this class.
