Drama Club 9-13 yrs Term 1 2026

Drama Club is a fun, energetic drama programme for young people aged 9 to 13 who enjoy performing, being creative, or simply want to build confidence in a supportive environment. This class gives students a chance to explore acting through theatre games, improvisation, storytelling, and working with simple scripts all while having fun and forming new friendships.

Through interactive lessons designed especially for this age group, students will learn how to express themselves clearly, work as part of a team, and bring characters and stories to life. The programme encourages playfulness, imagination, and positive communication skills.

By the end of the programme, students will be able to:

• Use their voices, gestures, and body language to create expressive and believable characters
• Make meaningful connections with their audience through performance
• Build confidence through drama games, theatre sports, and improvisation
• Develop storytelling skills using short scripts and original scenes
• Express their creativity in a space where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to enjoy drama
